Electrical Safety Testing
About this course:
Jim’s Training provides UEESS00174 – Electrical Safety Testing of Electrical Cord Connected Equipment and Cord Assemblies Skill Set for Jim’s Group franchisees and other individuals who require the skills to use a portable appliance tester (PAT) to undertake the testing, tagging, and reporting of handheld/portable low voltage (LV) electrical equipment. This competency is additional to other relevant field competencies for the scope of electrical work to be undertaken.
What to expect:
You will study: Application of WHS regulations, codes, and workplace practices, Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord-connected equipment, Conduct in-service safety testing of cord assemblies.

We offer this course at our site at Jim’s Training – 48 Edinburgh Rd Mooroolbark Victoria 2128 Australia. The course will be offered by experienced face-to-face trainers and supervisors.

This accredited course includes two units of competency that must be attained for successful completion. These units are designed for individuals who must ensure the safety of portable electrical equipment for primary, secondary, or incidental work.
Completion of this course can be used to contribute to the completion of relevant Certificate II, Certificate III, and Certificate IV qualifications for the UEE Electrotechnology Training Package.
